These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website luxurymotorssouthbay.com and the automotive repair services provided by South Bay Luxury Motors, doing business as Luxury Motors of South Bay (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Our shop is located at 4040 Spencer St, Unit Q, Torrance, CA 90503. By using our website, scheduling a service appointment, or authorizing repair work, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website, submitting a contact form, scheduling an appointment, or presenting your vehicle for service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree with any part of these Terms, please don’t use our website or services. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Services

South Bay Luxury Motors provides automotive repair, diagnostics, and maintenance services specializing in German luxury vehicles, including Porsche, BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, and Volkswagen. Our services include but aren’t limited to:

  • Engine diagnostics and repair
  • Brake service and replacement
  • Transmission service
  • Electrical system diagnostics
  • Routine maintenance (oil changes, fluid flushes, filter replacement)
  • Suspension and steering repair
  • Pre-purchase vehicle inspections
  • Check engine light diagnostics

Service availability may vary based on parts availability, technician scheduling, and vehicle condition. We reserve the right to decline service on any vehicle at our discretion.

3. Appointments and Scheduling

Appointments can be scheduled by calling us at 310-504-0089, through our online scheduling system powered by GoHighLevel, or by submitting a request through the contact form on our website. Appointment times are estimates and may be subject to change based on shop workload and the complexity of repairs in progress.

We ask that you provide accurate information about your vehicle and the issues you’re experiencing when scheduling. This helps us prepare and allocate the right amount of time for your service. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us as much notice as possible so we can offer that time slot to another customer.

4. Estimates and Authorization

Before beginning any repair work, we provide a digital estimate through our shop management system, Shopmonkey. Estimates are sent via text message or email and include a breakdown of parts, labor, and any applicable fees. All estimates require your written or digital approval before work begins.

Estimates are provided in good faith based on our initial inspection. They aren’t guarantees of final cost. If additional issues are discovered during the repair process that affect the scope or cost of work, we’ll contact you before proceeding. No additional work will be performed without your authorization.

Diagnostic fees may apply for inspections that require technician time and use of diagnostic equipment. These fees will be communicated before any diagnostic work begins.

5. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
  • ACH bank transfer
  • Cash
  • Affirm payment plans (subject to credit approval)

Vehicles won’t be released until payment has been received in full. If you’re using Affirm financing, your vehicle will be released once the financing is confirmed and approved. We reserve the right to place a mechanic’s lien on any vehicle for which payment remains outstanding, as permitted under California law.

6. Warranty on Repairs

We stand behind our work. Repairs performed by South Bay Luxury Motors include a warranty on both parts and labor. Specific warranty terms (duration and coverage) vary by the type of repair and the parts used. Warranty details will be provided on your invoice at the time of service.

Our warranty covers defects in parts and workmanship under normal operating conditions. The following are excluded from warranty coverage:

  • Damage caused by accidents, misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications
  • Normal wear-and-tear items (brake pads, filters, wiper blades, etc.) beyond their expected service life
  • Failures caused by pre-existing conditions not addressed during the original repair
  • Vehicles that have been serviced or repaired by another facility after our work was performed
  • Customer-supplied parts

To make a warranty claim, contact us at 310-504-0089 or email [email protected]. We’ll schedule an inspection and, if the issue falls within warranty coverage, correct it at no additional charge.

7. Vehicle Liability

While your vehicle is in our care, we take reasonable precautions to protect it. However, we aren’t responsible for loss or damage caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to fire, theft, natural disasters, or acts of vandalism. We recommend maintaining comprehensive insurance coverage on your vehicle at all times.

You’re responsible for retrieving your vehicle in a timely manner once notified that repairs are complete. Vehicles left at our facility for more than 30 days after completion of service without communication may be considered abandoned. Abandoned vehicles will be handled in accordance with California Vehicle Code provisions, which may include storage fees and eventual disposal or lien sale. We’ll make reasonable attempts to contact you before taking any such action.

Please remove all personal belongings and valuables from your vehicle before leaving it with us. We aren’t responsible for personal items left in vehicles.

8. SMS/Text Communications

By providing your phone number when scheduling an appointment, submitting a contact form, or otherwise engaging with our services, you consent to receive SMS/text messages from South Bay Luxury Motors. These messages may include appointment confirmations and reminders, service status updates, estimate approvals, promotional offers, and seasonal maintenance reminders.

Message frequency varies. Promotional messages won’t exceed 4 per month. Transactional messages (appointment reminders, service updates) are sent as needed. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Your carrier isn’t liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance. After opting out, you’ll receive a one-time confirmation message. Opting out of promotional messages won’t affect transactional messages related to active service on your vehicle unless you specifically request to stop all communications.

9. Email Communications

By providing your email address, you may receive transactional emails (invoices, estimates, appointment confirmations, service follow-ups) and marketing emails (promotions, seasonal reminders, newsletters). Transactional emails are necessary for the services you’ve requested and aren’t subject to opt-out.

Marketing emails comply with the CAN-SPAM Act. Every marketing email includes a clear unsubscribe link. We honor all unsubscribe requests within 10 business days. We won’t sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for their marketing purposes.

The content on luxurymotorssouthbay.com, including text, images, graphics, logos, and design elements, is the property of South Bay Luxury Motors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless South Bay Luxury Motors, its owners, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms, your use of our services, or your submission of content through our website.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal proceedings related to these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

15. Dispute Resolution

If we can’t resolve the dispute informally within 30 days, either party may initiate binding arbitration administered in Los Angeles County, California. The arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding. Each party shall bear its own costs, and the cost of arbitration shall be shared equally unless the arbitrator determines otherwise.

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted on an individual basis and not as a class action, class arbitration, or other representative proceeding.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.
