I’m Shawn Baker, and I built Luxury Motors of South Bay on a simple idea: you deserve dealership-level expertise without the dealership games.

For two decades as a technician, I watched customers show up frustrated, overcharged, and skeptical after years of pricing tricks and shops that cleared codes without fixing root causes. So in July 2022, I opened this shop in Torrance with a simple promise: do honest work, charge fair prices, and never recommend a repair your car doesn’t need.

Our Commitment to the South Bay

We chose Torrance because the South Bay has one of the highest concentrations of German luxury vehicles in Southern California, but very few qualified independent specialists. We serve Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, Palos Verdes, Long Beach, San Pedro, and West Los Angeles. Coastal salt air creates corrosion concerns. Year-round California driving means maintenance intervals that look different than they do in other climates.
