We've Moved to Hermosa Beach: Your European Auto Shop on PCH
I'm Shawn Baker, founder and master technician at Luxury Motors of South Bay, and I've got an update I've been looking forward to sharing. We've moved. After years of serving South Bay drivers, our shop is now at 505 Pacific Coast Highway in Hermosa Beach. Same team, same tools, same way of doing things, new home right on PCH.
I want to make this move easy on everyone who trusts us with their car, so this post is the practical version: where we are now, how to find us, what's near the shop, and what hasn't changed one bit. If you've been coming to us for your BMW, Mercedes, Audi, or Porsche, consider this your new set of directions.
We're now on Pacific Coast Highway in Hermosa Beach
Our new address is 505 Pacific Coast Highway, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254. If you know the area, you know PCH is the spine that runs through the whole South Bay, so we're right on the main artery instead of tucked away. The phone number is unchanged at 310-504-0089, and it's still me and the same crew answering.
Hermosa Beach has always been a big part of who we work with, so setting up shop here felt natural. We're a quick trip from downtown Hermosa and Pier Avenue, close to the Sand Section near the coast, and easy to reach from the Hermosa Valley side of town. Wherever you are in the city, PCH gets you to our door without much fuss.
How to find us and where to park
The easiest way to reach us is to point yourself at Pacific Coast Highway and look for 505. Coming from the north, you'll pass through Manhattan Beach on PCH and roll straight into Hermosa. Coming from the south, you'll come up through Redondo Beach on the same road. Either way, you don't need to navigate the tight downtown grid near the pier to get to us.
We have parking on site, so you can pull in, hand off your keys, and be on your way. I'll say one honest thing about the area: Hermosa Beach gets busy near the beach on weekends, and street parking downtown fills up fast. So if you're coming on a Saturday, book a time and drive right to the shop rather than trying to find a spot near Pier Avenue first. We'll be ready for you.
Why Hermosa Beach was the right move
People have asked why we made the jump, and the honest answer is that it put us closer to the drivers we already serve. The South Bay is compact, and a spot on PCH in Hermosa Beach sits near the center of it. Manhattan Beach is a few minutes north, Redondo Beach is a few minutes south, and El Segundo and Palos Verdes are both an easy drive.
The other reason is the neighborhood itself. Hermosa Beach is full of people who care about their cars and drive the kind of European vehicles we specialize in. Being here, right in the middle of downtown Hermosa's energy and a short walk from the Strand, means we're where our clients already spend their time. That's good for you when you need to drop a car and get on with your day.
There's also something to be said for putting down roots in a place with this much character. From the shops along Pier Avenue to the walk streets of the Sand Section to the quieter blocks up in the Hermosa Valley, this is a town people are proud of. I wanted our shop to feel like part of that, a local fixture you can count on, not a name on a strip somewhere off the beaten path. Sitting on PCH in the middle of it all makes that possible.
The same shop that came with us
I want to be clear about this part, because a move can make people wonder what else changed. The answer is nothing that matters. It's the same team you know, using the same dealer-level scan tools and the same OEM-quality parts, working on the same four marques: BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, and Porsche. The inspect-first, no-upsell approach came with us too. We look at the car, tell you what we actually find, and quote you before we touch anything.
If you've read our other guides, like our breakdown of what to expect from BMW service in Hermosa Beach, you already know how we work. That hasn't shifted. A new roof over the lifts doesn't change the standard underneath them. If anything, the new space gives us more room to keep doing the careful, unhurried work these cars deserve.
Making a service visit fit your day
One of the perks of the new location is how walkable it is. Downtown Hermosa and Pier Avenue are close, so if you're waiting on a shorter job you can grab a coffee, get breakfast, or take a stroll down toward the beach while we work. For anything that takes longer, most folks just leave the car with us and we call when it's ready.
Whatever works for your schedule works for us. When you come in, tell us whether you're waiting or dropping off, and we'll plan around it. The goal is simple: get your car handled properly without turning your day upside down. Being near the heart of Hermosa Beach makes that a lot easier than it used to be.
Still your shop for the whole South Bay
Moving to Hermosa Beach didn't narrow who we serve. It widened it. We still see longtime clients making the short drive from Torrance and up from Palos Verdes, and we're now more convenient for drivers in Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, and El Segundo. The South Bay has always felt like one connected community to me, and a central spot on PCH lets us take care of all of it.
If you found us before the move, thank you for sticking with us. If you're a Hermosa Beach neighbor who's driven past 505 PCH and wondered who we are, now you know. We're the independent European specialists down the street, and we'd be glad to look after your car.
Come see the new place
That's the whole update: new address, same shop. We're at 505 Pacific Coast Highway in Hermosa Beach, right on PCH and close to everything downtown Hermosa has going on. Whether your BMW is due for service, your Mercedes has a light on, or your Porsche or Audi just needs a set of experienced eyes, we're ready for it.
If you'd like to stop by or set up a time, give us a call at 310-504-0089 or book an appointment. Come find us on PCH. I'd love to show you the new home and take good care of your car while you enjoy the neighborhood.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where is Luxury Motors of South Bay located now?
We're at 505 Pacific Coast Highway in Hermosa Beach, CA 90254. We're right on PCH, a short drive from downtown Hermosa and Pier Avenue, and easy to reach whether you're coming from the Sand Section, Hermosa Valley, or up and down the coast. Our phone number stays the same at 310-504-0089.
Do you still serve Hermosa Beach and the rest of the South Bay after the move?
Yes. Moving to Hermosa Beach put us closer to Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, and El Segundo, and we still see plenty of longtime clients driving in from Torrance and Palos Verdes. The South Bay is a compact area, and 505 PCH is a straight shot for most of it. If you brought your car to us before, nothing about that relationship changed except the address.
Is there parking at the new Hermosa Beach location?
Yes, we have parking on site at the shop, so you can pull in, drop your keys, and go. If you'd rather leave the car with us for the day, that's easy too. Hermosa Beach street parking near the pier fills up on weekends, so for a Saturday visit I'd suggest booking a time and coming to us directly rather than circling downtown.
Can I run errands or grab food while my car is being serviced?
That's one of the nice things about the new spot. Downtown Hermosa and Pier Avenue are close, so you can walk to coffee, breakfast, or the Strand while we work. For longer jobs, most clients drop the car and we call when it's ready. Just let us know your plan when you come in and we'll work around it.
Did anything change about your service after the move to Hermosa Beach?
The address changed. The work didn't. Same team, same dealer-level diagnostic tools, same BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, and Porsche focus, and the same inspect-first, quote-fairly approach. If anything, the new location gives us a better space to do the same careful work we always have.
